Did you know that the CSAC began as a non-profit organization in 1989 when a group of parents came together because they were concerned about their kids drinking underage? Not a lot has changed in that regard, we still have parents and community members coming together wanting to reduce youth substance use and make our community a better place. The CSAC supports local coalitions like the Gateway ImpACT Coalition (GIC).
While 2020 has been a challenging year for most non-profits like ours, we see that the need is even greater. Parents, caregivers, and communities are struggling to keep their families safe and engaged during these unprecedented times. We are looking at innovative ways to remain engaged with youth and their communities and continue efforts to prevention youth substance use. While we have made some great strides, we still have a lot to accomplish. We need your support to reach out to youth and families to prevent substance use.
Would you consider donating to help us achieve our mission of safe and drug free communities? In addition, because of all the great work we are doing, we a have a local donor willing to match all gifts to the Gateway ImpACT Coalition (GIC) and/or Clinton Substance Abuse Council Endowment Fund, and give an additional $100 match donation for any monthly gift to either/ both campaigns! Gifts to the GIC will be use immediately, and gifts to CSAC will be used to sustain the organization for years to come!
If you have any questions, I would be happy to provide you with more information about how you can help support our work at the Clinton Substance Abuse Council and Gateway ImpACT Coalition. We greatly appreciate your donation, and it will be used to reduce substance use in the Clinton area. If you wish to contribute you can:
